Regular City Council Meeting Monday,January 24,2011 Page 7 Councilmember Pust expressed appreciation for the good discussion and rationale for staff recommendations, noting that past City Councils had discussed the useful life of vehicles, a discussion that was important and should be ongoing during 2012 budget cycle deliberations.. Councilmember Pust noted the safety concerns for the canine officers that also needed to be factored into recommendations, which had obviously been considered by the Committee.
