Roseville Human Rights Commission <br /> DRAFT Minutes—January 11, 2011 <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br /> 185 <br /> 186 Chair Singleton noted that language in the City Code and Imagine Roseville 2025. Chair Singleton <br /> 187 said he would put his proposal in a form of a motion for consideration at the March meeting. <br /> 188 <br /> 189 Commissioner Grefenberg provided suggestions for updating the strategic plan that was adopted in <br /> 190 2009. He suggested that be a starting point for the March meeting, requesting that other <br /> 191 commissioners offer their input. <br /> 192 <br /> 193 Commissioner Grefenberg highlighted a couple of his suggestions, expanding outreach and <br /> 194 broadening youth involvement. He noted that the commission has achieved putting meetings on <br /> 195 cable TV but asked why commission packets were not available online. <br /> 196 <br /> 197 Chair Singleton asked commissioners to send their thoughts about charitable gambling, noting that <br /> 198 comments be sent to Carolyn Curti so as to not violate the open meeting act. <br /> 199 <br /> 200 Commissioners clarified that Marie Siliciano be invited to the next meeting and be sworn in as the <br /> 201 alternate youth commissioner. She is to receive a packet and will be invited to sit at the table. <br /> 202 <br /> 203 Commissioner Josephson said he thought pursuing the charitable gambling funds was a good option <br /> 204 since it is necessary to have funds for youth outreach events. He saw it as a good way to get the <br /> 205 Commission's name out there. <br /> 206 <br /> 207 5d. Amendment(s) to By-laws <br /> 208 <br /> 209 Continued to the next meeting. <br /> 210 <br /> 211 6. Public Comment <br /> 212 <br /> 213 Don Spies spoke, saying he was a Concordia Academy alum from 1972.
