EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD July 28, 1980 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 28th day of July, 1980, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Kehr, Curley, Anderson and Franke and the following members were absent: None Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6991 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e has determined that it is in the public interest to announce its policy on determining special assessments on future improvements undertaken pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted Resolution No. 6472 on March 28, 1977, which together with its subsequent amendments, announces said assessment policy; and WHEREAS, the recent increase in the number of petitions to up- grade temporary City roadways indicates the need to amend the policy concerning the boundaries of projects to be considered for improve- ment; and WHEREAS, to overcome disporportionate expenses to side10t owners and to reduce the probability of leaving the side10t roadways unimproved for an extended period, it is desirable to have logically connected side10t roadways included with frontage roadways when considering the upgrading of said temporary frontage roadways; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to have Resolution No. 6472 and the subsequent amendments remain in full force and effect as to all other provisions not inconsistent with this resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE AS FOLLOWS:
