*BMP Title: Good Housekeeping Programs <br />*BMP Description: <br />1) Leaf litter pick -up program: <br />The City has an annual leaf letter pick -up program, wherein the City is broken up into 4 areas and leaves are <br />vacuumed over a 2.5 week period and composted at the City compost site <br />2) Wood chip recycling program <br />The City currently chips wood from trees brought down on City property and makes it available to residents for <br />use in landscaping <br />3) Recycling and compost program <br />There is a City -wide recycling and composting program managed by designated City staff <br />4) Sanitary sewer maintenance program <br />The City maintains an inventory of its sanitary sewer system. Periodic inspections and maintenance are <br />performed when necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the system. Sanitary system upgrades and <br />changes, if any, are documented; and the inventory is updated annually. <br />Location(s) in SWPPP of detailed information relating to this BMP: <br />*Measurable Goals: <br />1) Leaf litter- pickup competed this year.
