1 Member Manzara noted that it may be feasible to hold joint meetings with neighboring water <br />2 management organizations to initiate communication, and suggested that the GLWMO could <br />3 serve as a catalyst to open that door to communication. <br />4 <br />5 Mr. Petersen suggested that it may be good timing to initiate an annual forum of local <br />6 government water management organizations in the area; and further suggested that Ramsey <br />7 Conservation District could serve as a forum for that in the near future. <br />8 <br />9 Member Eckman noted that the annual Minnesota Association of Watershed Districts was <br />10 coming up in the near future and could be a most effective way to initiate and annual forum. <br />11 <br />12 Chair Ferrington noted that the 2011 budget request included funding for board members to <br />13 attend those meetings. <br />14 <br />15 Member Eckman opined that those meetings provided a good way for individual board members <br />16 to educate themselves. <br />17 <br />18 Adjourn <br />19 Chair Ferrington adjourned the meeting at approximately 7:37 p.m. <br />20 <br />15 <br />
