1 Final Version approved at the 2 1/20/11 Board meeting 3 4 Grass Lake Water Management Organization 5 Special Meeting Minutes December 15, 2010 5:30 p.m. 6 Roseville City Hall Hawthorne Room 7 2660 Civic Center Drive; Roseville, MN 8 9 Call the Meeting to Order 10 Chair Ferrington called to order a Special Meeting of the Grass Lakes Water Management 11 Organization (GLWMO) at approximately 5:30 p.m. 12 13 Members Present: Chair Len Ferrington; and Members Mary Kaye Von De Linde; Joan 14 Manzara; Karen Eckman; and Chuck Westerberg 15 16 Others Present: Deborah Bloom, City of Roseville; Mark Maloney, City of Shoreview; 17 Michael Goodnature, Conservation Specialist with RCD; Tom Petersen, 18 attending as a private citizen; and Camilla Correll, Partner with the firm of 19 Emmons Olivier Resources, Inc. 20 21 Review and Approve the Agenda 22 Member Eckman noted the need to add (1) discussion and scheduling dates of for 2011 23 GLWMO Board meetings, (2) discussion and adoption of the 2011 budget, and (3) further 24 discussion on scheduling joint meetings of the GLWMO and respective member City Councils. 25 26 Chair Ferrington added the 2011 GLWMO Board Meeting schedule under "Old Business." 27 28 Chair Ferrington noted that the 2011 Budget request had been submitted to the respective cities 29 for approval; and in accordance with the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA), was automatically 30 accepted if no response was provided from the cites within sixty (60) days.) 31 32 Member Eckman moved, and Member Manzara seconded approval of the agenda as amended. 33 34 Ayes: 5 35 Nays: 0 36 Motion carried. 37 38 Review and approve Meeting Minutes for November 10 and November 30, 2010 39 Member Manzara moved, and Member Von De Linde seconded approval of the meeting minutes 40 of November 10, 2010 as amended. 41 42 Corrections: 43 Page 1, Line 4, Correct Meeting Date from October 28 to November 10, 2010 44 45 Ayes: 5 46 Nays: 0 1
