Chair
76 Ferrington noted that Ms. Lewis recommended requesting RFP's at a minimum of every other
77 year. Chair Ferrington advised that he had therefore posted two (2) RFP's on the website for
78 services for 2011 Support Services and 2011 Recording Secretary Services.
79
80 Member Eckman questioned whether there was a minimum dollar threshold before an RFP was
81 required.
82
83 Chair Ferrington responded that he was not aware of that provision, but was relying on the
84 advice of Ms. Lewis, and recommended that the Board keep that regulation in mind as other
85 contracting opportunities arise into the future.
86
87 Chair Ferrington noted that the Board had not posted an RFP when seeking to replace Recording
88 Secretary Services last year; and while not anticipating another bid for those services, wanted to
89 follow regulations and had posted an RFP for those services as well. While both were posted
90 with today as the final submission date, Chair Ferrington suggested deferral of the RFP for
91 Recording Secretary Services to the next meeting.
92
2
