EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of April 2011 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following Members were present: Willmus; McGehee; Pust; Johnson; and Roe; <br /> and none was absent. <br /> Council Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10890 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 5 YEAR EXTENSION TO RAMSEY COUNTY'S <br /> EXISTING HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION SITE AS AN <br /> INTERIM USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH §1009.03 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br /> (PF3663) <br /> WHEREAS the subject property at the northeast corner of Larpenteur Avenue and Kent <br /> Street is owned by Ramsey County, and <br /> WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br /> PIN: 08-29-23-32-0004 <br /> Sarah's Out Lots to Saint Paul subject to the easement in Document 1411943 and subject to <br /> Larpenteur Avenue and Wagner Street, a tract composed of Lots 1, 2, 7, and Lot 8 <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County has requested a 5-year extension of the approval of the <br /> satellite household hazardous waste collection facility at the subject property as an INTERIM <br /> USE; and <br /> WHEREAS, the household hazardous waste site operates on a seasonal schedule, <br /> typically during the summer months; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br /> proposed INTERIM USE renewal on April 6, 2011, voting 7-0 to recommend approval of the use <br /> through for an additional 5 years,based on the comments and findings of the staff report <br /> prepared for said public hearing which were found to adequately address the City's interests; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the proposed <br /> INTERIM USE will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety, and general welfare, <br /> and that it will not impose additional costs on the public if it is necessary for the public to take <br /> the property in the future; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br /> the proposed INTERIM USE renewal in accordance with Section §1009.03 of the Roseville City <br /> Code, subject to the condition that: <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
