~~ 709~

Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Roseville
Ramsey County, Minnesota

January 26, 1981

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting

of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was

held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, January 26, 1981,

at 7:30 o'clock p.m.

The following members were present: Mayor Demos and

Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Franke and Johnson; and the following

were absent: None.

Also present were James F. Andre, City Manager; Robert

Bell, City Attorney; Charles Honchell, City Public Works

Director; and Peter S. popovich, City Bond Consultant.

MAYOR DEMOS: project P-80-35, Brenner Avenue from
Snelling Avenue to Pascal Street, street, curb and gutter and
associated work.

MR. ANDRE: I have the Certificate of Mailing and the
Affidavit of Publication on file.

MR. HONCHELL: The project is also the result of a
petition. In this case it was signed by 54% of the property
involved. This project is for the reconstruction of the road-
way of Brenner from the Snelling Frontage Road to approxi-
mately Albert. The reason the remainder of Brenner is not
included is because that is already constructed up to standards
and it was put in (inaudible) when that was done several years
ago. This is almost an identical situation to the project we
just referred to just to the north. Here's Clarmar and here's
that piece of Pascal we just talked about. This roadway is
also about 30 feet in width, varies somewhat, but approximately
30 feet wide. It's in fairly good condition. The street
grades vary somewhat. There are no particular problems. The
yards match the existing roadway quite well and it is antici-
pated that the new grade, the new elevation for the road, if
it's approved, would be quite close to what's already out on
the street. Again, there are several trees that are in the
right-of-way. They are several feet back, however, and we do
