most of the water from Mr. Rihm's property, as well as others,
would reach that. We still haven't had the assessment hearing
because we don't have the final costs from the County. As a
general area basis for the County Road C portion, they will be
assessed a fairly small amount for part of that as well.

MAYOR DEMOS: Is there anyone else that wishes to be heard?

EVELYN ~ARABELLA, 2525 West County Road C:
sewer and water connected this summer. I see no
for the other on the north end of the property.
much opposed to it. Thank you.

MAYOR DEMOS: I guess I don't understand.

We just had
reason to pay
We're very

MR. HONCHELL: Which is your property?

MRS. MARABELLA: That narrow strip all the way back.

MAYOR DEMOS: That narrow strip, 1300 feet there.

MR. HONCHELL: Let me clarify just a little. If any of
these improvements go in, other than possibly the storm, we
would either be acquiring your parcel entirely or there would
be no assessments for your parcel. If we didn't acquire it,
the only assessment would be the storm because water runs off
your land just like it runs off everybody elses. You would be
a part of the storm. You wouldn't be a part of the water
assessment, sanitary sewer, paving or anything else.

MRS. MARABELLA: I see. I thought we would be.

MR. HONCHELL: The storm se\~er you still would, because the
water would be running off. But the rest of it, we would either
be acquiring the parcel and building a street on what's now your
parcel or you wouldn't be assessed.

COUNCILMAN KEHR: Does this also apply to Mr. Rihm?

MR. HONCHELL: No, because, well, before I say that, yes,
if we do not acquire the Marabella property, then the only
assessment to Mr. Rihm would be his portion of the storm that
is shown in yellow in st. Anthony. Plus maybe some very small
things to get the water from his property to (inaudible).

COUNCIL~~N KEHR: What would be the assessment on that?
Do you have that at your fingertips?

MAYOR DEMOS: $145.25 per unit, which I presume is an acre.

MR. HONCHELL: Yes, $145.25 per unit, there would be 117
units, it would be 6.6 or 6.66, one of the two, so if you have
ten acres, that would be $66.00, you'd pay half of it. Some-
thing in the neighborhood of $30,000 to $34,000 total. Again,
that assumes there are going to be some catch basins built in

10
