Andre, City Manager; Roger Jensen

from the City Attorney's Office; Charles Honchell, City Public

Works Director; and Peter S. popovich, City Bond Consultant.

MAYOR DEMOS: P-Bl-7, ~~rrill from Woodhill to County Road
C-2, Judith from Merrill to Dellwood, and Terrace from Merrill to
Dellwood, paving, curb and gutter.

MR. ANDRE: We have the Affidavit of Publication and the
Certificate of Mailing on file.

MR. HONCHELL: Once again, this is a project that was the
result of a petition. The proposal is for the construction of a
residential-style roadway on Merrill, again from Woodhill to
County Road C-2, and once again including the side streets. In
this case between Merrill and Dellwood on Judith and between
Merr~ll and Dellwood on Terrace. The existing road is 25 to 30
feet wide in its present condition. In varying places it is
somewhat off-center, although it does meander back and forth a
bit. It is in poor condition, generally flat with some grades,
but nothing unusual or severe. Again, there is some evidence of
potential subgrade problems, but that is unknown at this time.
There does not appear to be any severe driveway problems that
could not be met as part of the proposed construction. There is
one fairly severe driveway - I think it's that location - it's
either there or the next one, I'd have to look at my notes -
but it is thought that that could also be met. The yards do not
appear to be unusual in configuration and again appear to be
able to be met as part of the proposed work. There are existing
storm drainage facilities along the road and it is not antici-
pated that any additional storm work would have to be built in
the street. One the things, as you can see from this map, is
