Proclaim May Asian Pacific American Heritage Month <br /> Mayor Roe read a proclamation designating the month of May of 2011 comme- <br /> morating the first Japanese immigrants to the United States on May 7, 1843; re- <br /> cognizing the contributions of Asian Pacific Americans to the City of Roseville's <br /> diversity and community potential. <br /> McGehee moved, Johnson seconded, proclaiming May of 2011 as Asian Pacific <br /> American Heritage Month in the City of Roseville. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; McGehee; Johnson; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 6. Approve Minutes <br /> a. Approve Minutes of April 18, 2011 Meeting <br /> Comments and corrections to draft minutes had been submitted by the City Coun- <br /> cil prior to tonight's meeting and those revisions were incorporated into the draft <br /> presented in the Council packet. <br /> Johnson moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the minutes of the April 18, <br /> 2011 meeting as amended. <br /> Additional Corrections: <br /> Page 18,Line 1 (Willmus) <br /> Change to read: "...to provide a value-based perspective and evaluation;;; and <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; McGehee; Johnson; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 7. Approve Consent Agenda <br /> There were no additional changes to the Consent Agenda than those previously noted. At <br /> the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Bill Malinen briefly reviewed those items being <br /> considered under the Consent Agenda. <br />
