opt n i
lT
October 6, 2000 •
Rice Creek WaterShed District
3585 Lexington Ave N.
Arden Hills, Mn. 55126
Attn: Tony RE: 2220 wetland area being filled in
by owner.
Dear Sir,
The subject wetland area was delineated in 1996 by the previous
owner. The new owner, Charles Jungman, is now filling in the
#3 wetland area with a fill product. The two wetland areas are
located on the north side of 2220 Acorn Road or the south side
adjoining our property at 2250 Acorn Road, Roseville.
Under the rules of the wetland protection act, the designated wetland
area cannot be filled without do process. As I type this letter
the area is being filled in.
We are very concerned as 75% of the run-off of that property runs
across our property to the north. Without the wetland areas, our
property will sustain substantial run-off damage everytime it rains
or snow melts in the spring. It is our belief that once it rains, the
fill will not be able to be removed .
Please respond to this letter in a timely manner, so the matter
may be resolved before the freeze.
Sincerely,
it4a&
, 4,
Elizabeth Boryczka
