the excavation of the larger natural wetland holding pond to no more that 5 feet below the existing elevation and not to damage any trees. This would allow for more water retention. My husband then volunteered to do the excavation at no cost to Mr. Jungman . Mr. Jungman thought that would be fine with him. (My husband has been in the commercial excavation business for 35 years). RCWS then issued a permit for the excavation. As of Novemebr 21,-2003, Mr. Jungman has no permit issued by the City of Roseville for the excavation recommended by the RCWS to partially correrct this problem of filling. On November 19, 2003, Mr. Jungman contacted my husband by phone and told him he had changed his mind about the 5 foot excavation suggested by the RCWS for the pond. He did not want any work done this year. My husband told him that it was nice and dry now and next year the natural wetland holding pond would be full of water and excavation would not be able to take place to correct the situation. Again Mr. Jungman has not followed through with what the RCWS has instructed him to do. He has done no restoration of the new filled pond area. He has done no restoration of the larger partially filled pond either. It is unsightly, stripped of trees and vegetation. Wildlife is all but gone. And come springtime, flooding will take place from run-off and rains over our property at a rapid rate. Erosion is also figured into the problem. Our neighbors to the rear also have the same water problem in regard to these ponds and same concerns for their property. They are on the third pond. We are hoping that the City of Roseville can stop this drainage damage that is occurring to the natural wetland ponds and surrounding areas and help us save our property of hardships that will be in our future of flooding and damage to our properties.
