Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,June 13,2011 <br /> Page 4 <br /> Total $835,963.82 <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> b. Approve Business Licenses <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, approval of business license applications for the <br /> period of one (1) year, for those applicants as detailed in the RCA dated June 13, <br /> 2011. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> c. Approve General Purchases and Sale of Surplus Items Exceeding $5,000 <br /> Mayor Roe noted the annual cost savings projected through the purchase of this <br /> new equipment as detailed in the RCA, and commended staff for their initiative. <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, approval of the submitted list of general purchas- <br /> es and contracts for services presented as follows: <br /> Department Vendor Item/Description Amount <br /> Info Tech CDWG Storage Area Network $29,153.32 <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> d. Set Deadline for Applications for Human Rights Commission <br /> At the request of Councilmember Johnson, City Manager Malinen confirmed that <br /> there were seven (7) members total on the Human Rights Commission. <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, directing staff to advertise for applications for <br /> service on the Human Rights Commission, with applications due to the City by <br /> July 15, 2011; and interview scheduled by the City Council at their July 25, 2011 <br /> meeting ; and appointments to be made at the August 8, 2011 meeting. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> e. Set Deadline for Applications for Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> Councilmember McGehee pointed out, in the HRA Policy Statement related to <br /> pursuing affordable housing, as contained in the resolution attached to the RCA; <br />
