Adopt a Resolution Approving a Drive-through as a Conditional use at 2750 <br /> Snelling Avenue <br /> Councilmember McGehee referenced her e-mail to the Planning Commission for <br /> their June 1, 2011 Public Hearing on this issue, and concerns brought to her atten- <br /> tion by a developer about placement of the building in consideration of pede- <br /> strian-friendly design standards. Councilmember McGehee expressed her asto- <br /> nishment in receiving a response to that e-mail from City Planner Thomas <br /> Paschke, opining that he was basically restating his argument already made in the <br /> staff report. Councilmember McGehee expressed her annoyance in receiving a <br /> staff response to an e-mail sent directly to Planning Commissioners; and opined <br /> that this was not an isolated incident and that the Planning Commission should be <br /> able to operate without"heavy-handed" staff comments. <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10906 (Attachment <br /> E) entitled, "A Resolution Approving a Drive Through as a Conditional Use at <br /> 2750 Snelling Avenue (PF 11-015)." <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; Pust; Willmus; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> g. Accept the Office of Traffic Safety Grant Award of One (1) Panasonic Arbi- <br /> trator 360 In-squad Camera <br /> Councilmember McGehee questioned if there were matching funds of$1,300.00 <br /> required for the camera previously received through this grant. <br /> City Manager Malinen was unable to respond at this time, but volunteered to ob- <br /> tain that information. <br /> Mayor Roe asked whether under the "financial impacts" portion of the RCA, the <br /> cameras were not programmed for replacement by the City, but through future <br /> grant funding only. <br />
