Public Hearing <br />for the <br />GLWMO 3 Generation Watershed Management Plan <br />Members of the Board, after further research and review of MN BWSR Rules and State <br />Statutes governing WMO Watershed Management Plans and discussions with BWSR <br />staff, it has come to my attention that we can not hold our Public Hearing in August of <br />2011. <br />The reasons for this are as follows: <br />Melissa K. Lewis of BWSR has determined that the official closing date for the <br />"60 day" comment period is August 15, 2011. <br />BWSR rules preclude the required Public Hearing any sooner than 14 calendar <br />days after the close of the 60 day review comment period. <br />BWSR rules also preclude holding the Public Hearing any sooner than 10 <br />calendar days after official Board written response to all comments received <br />during the 60 day review period. <br />Potential Schedule of Public hearing- <br />If we assume the Board takes official action on the written comment responses, we will <br />need a Special Board meeting no sooner than August 25, 2011. This would put the <br />earliest possible Public hearing date sometime the week of September 5 <br />I have reserved the Roseville city council chambers for September 8 and September <br />14` and 15 2011 from 6PM to 8PM. <br />
