Attachment to Program Planners Report <br /> July 14, 2011 <br /> DRAFT <br /> Neighborhood and Community Engagement <br /> A Task Force of the Roseville Human Rights Commission <br /> Meeting Notes for Meeting #2 <br /> June 15, 2011 <br /> Roseville City Hall, <br /> 6:30-8:34 p.m. <br /> Present: Gary Grefenberg (HRC), Zach Barber (reporter for Roseville Patch), Tam <br /> McGehee (City Council), , Judy Berglund (At-Large), James DeBenedet (Public <br /> Works Corn), Rita Mix (At-Large), Kathy Fischer (At-Large), Haden Bowie (Task <br /> Force Coordinator), Greg Simbeck (Parks & Rec Corn), Jim Lewis (At-Large), <br /> Shannon Cunningham (At-Large) <br /> Gary Grefenberg, Task Force Chair, convened the second meeting of the Civic <br /> Engagement Task Force at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Approve Agenda <br /> Chair Grefenberg submitted a proposed agenda to the Task Force and asked if <br /> there were any suggested changes. There being none, the agenda was adopted as <br /> proposed. <br /> Task Force Introductions <br /> Grefenberg made a special introduction for one new Task Force Member and two <br /> guests. Judy Berglund, a Task Force Member, was unable to attend the first <br /> meeting. She represents the League of Women Voters and is interested in human <br /> rights issues. Tammy McGehee was introduced and spoke briefly on a number of <br /> topics coming to the city council right now. Zach Barber was introduced and said <br /> he would be taking notes for Roseville Patch. All Task Force members briefly <br /> introduced themselves as well. <br /> Preliminary Work Scope and Membership Review <br /> A review of the Task Force name was completed and officially changed from the <br /> Roseville Civic Engagement Task Force to the Neighborhood and Community <br /> Engagement Task Force. <br /> A map of the current members' residential locations was reviewed. There were a <br /> few areas of Roseville that seemed underrepresented on the Task Force: HarMar <br /> neighborhood, James edition along Fairview, east of Snelling/north of 36, east of <br /> Hwy 88. Communities that are underrepresented include condos owners and <br /> 3 <br />
