~~~I/~.
I ~~L/
Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Roseville
Ramsey County, Minnesota
February 8, 1982
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was
held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, February 8, 1982,
at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Demos and
Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Franke and Johnson; and the following
were absent: None.
Also present were James F. Andre, City Manager; Roger
Jensen of Peterson, Bell & Converse, City Attorneys; Charles
v. Honchell, City Public Works Director; and Peter S. Popovich
of Peterson, Popovich, Knutson & Flynn, City Bond Consultants.
~ffiYOR DEMOS: I will open the hearing for Improvement No.
SS-W-81-13, sanitary sewer service and water service for 1856
Lexington Avenue.
~R. This particular parcel is located
on Lexington Avenue and it's a rarity in Roseville in that
actually the parcel we're talking about is to the rear of one
that comes out to Lexington .Avenue. This is on the east side
of the road, near Summer Street. To make it even more peculiar,
according to our records both homes have the address of 1856
Lexington Avenue. The front parcel is approximately 157 feet
deep. The proposal in this case would be to provide a means
of serving the rear parcel by constructing a typical four inch
sanitary sewer service back to the property line. Again, for
the benefit of those of you in the audience, the City gets
involved in sanitary sewer construction either by building the
main, which is out in the right-of-way or along the road, typi-
cally, or in building what is called a service. That's a
