<br />MRS. ADAMS: We asked them to put the sewer in about four <br />years ago when we (inaudible). I don't think it's my fault - <br />it's your fault. <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: I'll tell you something - I'm not going to <br />sit here - two wrongs don't make a right. Because a wrong was <br />made then, I will not vote to create another wrong. I guess <br />I feel this is our decision, if we feel this is the least <br />costly, and I feel it's our decision to make, frankly, and <br />not your attorney's. If he feels that another route should be <br />taken, could benefit you better, and if he feels that he can <br />bicker with Mr. Reiling and get a change, then we will enter- <br />tain that change. But I do think that we should proceed <br />tonight. <br /> <br />MR. ANDRE: That would have to pretty well all tied down <br />before the Council would terminate the proceedings. <br /> <br />MRS. ADAMS: I wanted the sewer before. <br /> <br />(Inaudible) . <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN FRANKE: Why don't you want it now then? It <br />would have cost you money before too. <br /> <br />MRS. ADAMS: (Inaudible) $2,000 if you had done it 20 <br />years ago. I don't like the idea of a lift pump. My husband <br />was completely against it. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN FRANKE: Even if you had had it done two years <br />ago you would have had to have a lift pump. <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: I think at this time, if there is no one <br />else that wishes to be heard on the subject, that I will close <br />the hearing and ask that the Council take its action. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN JOHNSON then introduced the following resolu- <br /> <br />tion and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7308 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-81-19 <br />UNDER AND PURSUANT TO <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes. 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. <br />SS-81-19 consisting of the extension of sanitary sewer main <br />and necessary appurtenances to serve the property south of <br />County Road C between Dale Street and Mackubin Street, as <br />described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently esti- <br />mated at $18,628.13, and substantially in accordance with the <br /> <br />, , <br />
