<br />I think they feel better about it when they go home. To make <br />them feel even better, there are many of us in Roseville who <br />~on't contribute to this problem, but we pick up 75% of the <br />cost by virtue of being tax payers in Roseville. It's all for <br />one and one for all. It is going to make the whole community <br />better and will solve this very bad problem that the people <br />have had. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN FRANKE then introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7324 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF IMPROVEMENT NO. ST-80-30 <br />UNDER AND PURSUANT TO <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br />AND AUTHORI ZING PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. <br />ST-80-30 consisting of the installation of storm sewer, pond <br />excavation and necessary appurtenances on all that property <br />in the area generally bounded by Lexington Avenue on the west, <br />Victoria Street on the east, Central Park on the north, and <br />Grandview Avenue on the south, as described in the Notice of <br />Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $494,419.65, and sub- <br />stantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the <br />feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the <br />City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested <br />persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council <br />does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall <br />be constructed and financed, and special assessments shall <br />be levied therefor, pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that <br />the area proposed to be assessed therefo'r shall include the <br />property as described in the Notice of Hearing. The City <br />Public works Director is directed to prepare and submit to <br />the Council the final plans and specifications. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption 0 f the foregoin,g resolution <br /> <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon roll call <br /> <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor there- <br /> <br />of: All; and the following voted against the same: None; <br /> <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and' adopted. <br /> <br />24 <br />
