We expect this project to go to construction this summer.

MR. ROBERT LOEFFLER, 2452 Aglen: On the design of your
storm sewer - up on Transit, the intersection there - your
theory is - you're not going to catch much water. 35% of
the water is going to go down the hill there.

MR. HONCHELL: I'm not sure where you get your figures -
there's no question we won't get every bi t of it.

MR. LOEFFLER: How are you going to design that corner
up there? Why didn't you extend your street on up another
block and up the other block where the percentage of your water
is coming from?

MR. HONCHELL: As I said earlier, it's a case of trying
to trade off costs of the improvement versus the amount of
water that would be picked up at any given point.

MR. LOEFFLER: Isn't the theory of the project to do the

job?

MR. HONCHELL: Sure.

MR. LOEFFLER: Well then the job is not being done
properly I'd say.

MR. HONCHELL: That's your opinion.

MR. LOEFFLER: That's my opinion.

MAYOR DEMOS: The reconstruction of Aglen - anyone else?
I will close the hearing.

COUNCILMAN JOHNSON then introduced the following resolu-
tion and moved its adoption:

Resolution No. 7328,

RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-82-5 '
UNDER AND PURSUANT TO
MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR

BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville,
Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a
public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No.
P-82-5 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving,
concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances on all
that property abutting Aglen Street from Transit Avenue to
Brooks Avenue, as described in the Notice of Hearing at a
cost presently estimated at $38,472.19, and substantially in

l4
