Newman offered <br />the land on condition tha t the village erec t a ~:100 ,000.00 building on <br />the location. Leroy Nelson, 1935 Grant <br />Avenue, felt that tl1e residents on tne hiGher end of Grant Avenue should <br />be assessed for road il;;provement but not for' the stox'm sewer,. as l1e <br />stated tt.ey would not benefit from it. Council informed tile group that <br />p'oper legal notices had been published, a public hearinG held, which <br />was favorable to the proposed proJect, and tb.at Council is now committed <br />to proceed with the project under the local rr"provement code. <br /> <br />lIr.
