Crepeau, Jr. at <br />8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Present: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen John Hollenhorst, <br />E. Courtney, Treasurer Worth Read, Engineers Don <br />Lund and Norman Hendrickson, Maintenance SupervIsor Everett <br />Beecher, BuIldIng Inspector Clay Kelley and AssIstant <br />Clerk, AdminIstratIon Dorothy Zehm. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The MInutes of the Regular Council Meeting of June 29, 1970, were <br />approved as amended. <br /> <br />1m rovement <br />Representa ves <br />presently under <br /> <br /> <br />ects - Com letlon Schedules <br />rom the var ous sewer and water Improvement projects, <br />constructIon In Arden Hills, were present. <br /> <br />Engineer Norman Hendrickson presented completion schedules to the <br />CouncIl for the two (2) water projects, from Northern ContractIng <br />Company for Water Improvement 68-3, and from Northdale Construction <br />Company for Water Improvement 68-2. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau read the completion schedules In their entIrety for <br />the several residents present, and asked that questions and comments <br />be directed to the representatives of the contracting companIes, the <br />engineers, or the Council. <br /> <br />Several residents commented on dissatisfaction with construction <br />progress In the past; expressed concern for the satisfactory restora- <br />tion of disturbed property. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau advised the residents that the schedules will be kept <br />on file at the Village office for their review, stating that the <br />projects appear to be reaching completion about one (I) month early, <br />In spite of the two (2) month strike delay in the spring. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Wles, 1948 Mounds Avenue, requested that the Mounds Avenue <br />access to TH 10 be changed to follow the present sewer easement, <br />creating an Improved access to TH 10. He also requested that the <br />road be Improved and a cul-de-sac constructed on the west end. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau explained that a petition, signed by the property <br />owners on Mounds Avenue, should be submitted to the Council for <br />consideration, Informl~g him that property owners are assessed for <br />street Improvements. <br /> <br />Temporary Structure <br />Mr. Eugene Colestock, Dynacast Corporation, explained that a temporary <br />covering was constructed over a portion of the loading dock at Arden <br />Automatic last winter, a permanent addition was intended to be <br />constructed this spring. Mr. Colestock requested that the temporary <br />structure be permitted until the spring of 1971 because of the high <br />costs of construction at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Colestock was requested to obtain a temporary permit for this <br />existing structure from Building Inspector Clay Kelley; permit to <br />expire In the spring of 1971. <br /> <br />. <br />
