Roll Cell Present: Mayor Crepe~u, Councilmen Holienhorst, Henderson C'ouncl Imen Olmen and Herrick -. Absent: Also Present: Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist, Treasurer Richard O'Kelly, Attorney Vincent P. Courtney, Engineers Donald Lund end Donald Christoffersen, Assistant Clerk Dorothy Zehm. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of July 10, 1972 were approved as submitted. BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department Budget Proposal Fire Chief Harold FI~ne; Introduced the treasurer and representatives of the fire department who presented a long-range proposal for equip- ment expansion and 8 third fire station (location to be determined>. After considerable discussion, the Council agreed to appoint a liaison committee from A.-den Hills to Blee'; whh the othsr villages served by the department to review the proposals. ~. He stated that he does not oppose the tower, but does not want It in any way to affect his property; advfstng that If it should fa!1 for some unknown reason, It could, as It is pl-esenfly proposed. fail i~j5 feet onto his property. He requ.s~ed that it be moved south from County Road F to prevent this possibility. Mr. Roger Sa~tBlman, structur61 engineer - EII.rbe Architects and EngIneers, was hired by the Village to conduct a safety study ~n the proposed tewBr. He stated that the tower Is ~tructural Iy safe, as propOSed. Mr. Chas. Schwab, Schwab-Volhabar Development Company, expressed his opposition to the proposed tower location, stating that two tenants In his office building, which !s located la~edlately to the west of -~-
