P~oposed construction Is to be done In about <br />five yoars, He reported that the Improvement project Is entIrely <br />dependent upon State Highway funds, and that no Federal Urban Highway <br />Funds are available now, but may be In the future. <br /> <br />The plan proposes four traffic lanes on Lexington Avenue with raised <br />medians along the center. The grade Is to be Dowered at County Road D, <br />the road straightened, and a hump removed, and traffic signal lights <br />ar~ to be placed at the Intersection of Lexington and County Road E. <br />Some 1JJodltlona9 Janel right-of-way Is needed for the sIgnal light Instal- <br />lation. A rlght-ot-way diagram was reviewed by Mr. Snyker and given <br />to Mayo~ Crepeau. <br /> <br />Traffic projection fIgures of the Highway Department were quoted by <br />Mr. Snyker. The figures are on tile at the VIOiage offIce. <br /> <br />Tho P"oposed plans wer'" studied by the CounclO to determine distance <br />from Arden HII ls homes bordering ths project. <br /> <br />Motion ~~$ made by Henderson, seconded by Herrick, that tentatIve Councln <br />approval be given the preliminary p~ans, dated Marco 13, 1972, and <br />thaT thay be placed on file at the VIOnage AdmInIstrative office. <br />MotIon carried unanimous IV. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY ViNCENT P.
