Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Charles Crichton, <br />James Wingert, William Feyerelsen, Robert Woodburn. <br />Absent - None. <br />Also Present - Planner RIchard Fredlund, Clerk Administrator <br />Charlotte McNiesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> <br />Case Nc>. 75-23 <br />Mr. Pat Flaherty and Mr. Max Goracke presented an amended site plan <br />of the Connelly Avenue area, depicting changes in Flaherty's parking <br />areas (to accommodate 257 stalls), delineation of realigned one-way <br />road right-of-way, pondlng areas, proposed landscaped areas, change <br />of access to adjacent properties; all based on preliminary grading <br />-studies. <br /> <br />In discussion of drainage, Goracke noted that the proposed ponding <br />area will hold approximately 6000 cu. ft. of water (I" to 2" rainfall); . <br />does not know what else drains into the site, but site wi II contain <br />the extra run-off which the amended parking lot construction will <br />contrlbut~, as well as the run-off from the McDonald site; proposes <br />to lower the catch basin and install a pipe restriction to allow water <br />to funnel out slowly; also agreed to mound west property I ine to 927 <br />contour (instead of 926 as shown) to prevent run-off of heavy rain <br />to the west and north of the site. <br /> <br />Flaherty agreed to curb Connelly Avenue on all the Flaherty-owned sides <br />of the road. <br /> <br />Flaherty noted that Shaw Lumber Company has expressed opposition to <br />the proposed changes presented earlier (plan dated 8-7-75); have not <br />seen the amended plan presented to the Council tonight. <br /> <br />~fter disc ssion, Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Councl I <br />plan as submitted (dated 8/1817:;)" n auth rit~.!ijt'M'!l_~..e.tz <br />ynden to proceed with the street v c tlon e ~ . <br />proceed tn accordance with plan as subject 0 subsequent ap- <br />proval of grading and landscaping plans. <br /> <br />Af':'rf.urther discussion, Woodburn moved that the motion be amended to <br />permi~ Flaherty to proceed at his own risk, after consulting with <br />Attorney Lynden as to probable feasibility, after landscape and grading <br />plans are submitted. Wingert agreed to the amsndment and motion, as <br />amended, carried unanimously. <br /> <br />In discussion of costs of project to be borne by the Vi llage, Goracke <br />stated that It is their Intent that the VII lag. Attorney and Engineer- <br />Ing fees, signing and striping of streets and delineation of road <br />rlght-of-~Iay, except on the Flaherty-owned sid&s of Connelly Avenue, <br />be borne by the Village; Flaherty wi II pay costs of balance of project, <br />Including curb delineation of Connelly Avenue on Flaherty's sides of <br />this road, <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCN1ESH <br /> <br />1976 Proposed Budget <br />McNlesh referred Council to charts and graphs to be added to the Pro- <br />posed 19768udget; reporting that the Finance Sub-committee has sched- <br />uled a meeting on Tuesday, August 19th at 7:30 p.m., at which time they <br />will receive the Proposed 1976 Budget.
