Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that the Minutes of the Special <br />Counei I Meeting of July 21, 1975, be approved as amended. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BUSiNESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE BUILDING INSPECTOR LARRY SQUIRES <br /> <br />Gas Connection Permits - Arden Manor <br />Squires reported that Heating Inspector Pakoy has indicated that gas <br />Instal lations of mobile homes should be tested prior to hook-up by <br />N.S.P.. to detect leaks which may occur in transit. Squires said a <br />meetIng wi I I be scheduled with Mr. Pakoy, Mr. Walters (Director of <br />Mobile Homes Association), a member of the Minnesota Building Code <br />Department and himself to set up criteria for permits and testing. <br /> <br />McNiesh reported that N.S.P. will not make gas connections at Arden <br />Manor unless gas installations have been approved; suggested that an <br />interim solution might be approved untl I spoclfic testing criteria <br />are established - people are waiting for gas hook-ups. <br /> <br />Mr. Bernerd F~ber stated he is a State licensed gas Installer and has <br />taken permits for two gas connections In Arden Manor; suggested that <br />card be given to N.S.P. by Arden Hils (as in done in o'ther munl,cipali- <br />ties) which IndlI:at.e.s..lnstallatlon has been approved by the Gas Inspector-. <br />"'"S"qu'rres agreed this would be satisfactory until uniform testing criteria <br />are determined. Councl I concurred with this Interim procedure, and <br />Squires Indicated that testing recommendations should be available with- <br />in a month. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />Case No. 74..,.+. Pemtom - Approv.a I of Regl stered Land Survey: of Tract A <br />Lynden referred Council to his letter of 7-17-75. Crichton moved, <br />seconded by Wingert, that Counci I approve Registered Land Survey No. <br />296, which cov.rs the area designated as Tract A, Townhouse Villages <br />North. Motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Personal SerVice 'Agreement - Vi Ilage Inspectors <br />Lynden referred Council to his letter of 7-28-75 and attached Little <br />Canada Personal Service Agreement. <br /> <br />After discussion of recommended changes to the agreement form, Crichton <br />moved. seconded by Wingert, that Council authorize execution of the <br />Agreemen~ as amended, by the Inspectors, Mayor and Clerk Administrator. <br />Motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Ordinance re Building Code <br />Lynden reviewed the ordinance adopting the State Bui Idlng Code, In Its <br />ent I rety, not I ng changes to be I nporporated in f I na I. draft and y i v I ng <br />the ordinance Its second reading.
