Crepeau, Jr. <br />Also Present - Attorney James S. Lynden, Engineer Donald Lund, <br />Treasurer Richard O'Kelly, Park and Recreation Director <br />John Buckley, Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNlesh, <br />Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />ApQroval of Minutes <br />Wingert moved. seconded by Feyerelsen, that the Minutes of the <br />Regular Councl I Meeting of December 21, 1973, be approved as <br />amended. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the SpecIal Council Meeting of January 2, 1914, <br />were approved dS submitted. <br /> <br />Business from the Floor <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES S. LYNDEN <br /> <br />1914 Union Contract <br />Attorney Lynden reported that the terms of the 1974 Union Contract <br />have been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties, and he <br />has prepared the 1914 Labor Agreement accordingly, and a Resolution <br />adopting the agreement. <br /> <br />After discussion of the agreement terms, namely wages, vacation <br />time, dues check-off and bulletin board and changed designation <br />from Village to City, Oimen moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that <br />the Council adopt Resolution No. 74-2, RESOLUTION APPROVING 1914 <br />LABOR AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS, <br />LOCAL NO. 49, as amended; authorizing execution of Resolution and <br />Agreement by Mayor and Clerk AdminIstrator. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 176 - Repealing OrdInance No.4 and No. 42 <br />^ttorney Lynden submitted AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 4 <br />AND 42 RELATING TO THE OFFICIAL DEPOSITORY FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN <br />HILLS, and Olmen moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that the Council <br />conduct Its first reading of the ordinance. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Attorney Lynden read the ordinance In Its entirety. <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />It was noted that designation of depositories will henceforth be <br />by Resolution rather than by Ordinance. <br /> <br />Second and Final Reading of the ordinance was SCheduled for January 28, <br />1914. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />~ Case No. 73-28. Dreyfus PrelimInary Plat of Hunters' P~ <br />Engineer Lund advIsed that he has compared the proposed Preliminary <br />Plat with the construction plans, and advised that they are In accord. <br /> <br />Lund referred the Council to his letter of December 4, 1973. and <br />to Mr. Olson's reply, dated December 26, 1973. He suggested that <br />the temporary right of way be provided on the Preliminary Plat for <br />the cul-de-s,8c. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
