Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen James Wingert, <br />Robert Woodburn, Charles CrIchton. <br />Absent - Councilman Ward Hanson. <br />Also Present - Engineer Donald Christoffersen, Attorney James Lynden, <br />Treasurer Donald Lamb, Clerk Administrator Charlotte <br />McNlesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council approve the <br />Minutes of the Regufar Council Meeting of July II, 1977, as amended. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Business from the Floor <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br /> <br />Review of Environmental uallt <br />Lynden referred Council to h s <br />Quality Board Rules--Karth Lake <br /> <br /> <br />ulatlons <br />etter 0 25 77 re Environmental <br />and Chatham Development. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred that an EAW should be prepared <br />by the developer and submitted to the Board re the Karth Lake develop- <br />ment, prior to the City progressing further with public Improvements <br />In connection with the development, and prior to City approval of the <br />Final Plat of Karth Lake Estates. <br /> <br />With respect to the Chatham Development, Council concurred that, since <br />the City has awarded a contract for public L.RP~.~ ()~v ents In connection <br />with the development, and since the develop~r~'~bject to a loss of <br />about S500/day If there Is a deiay, the CIty shouJd allow the project <br />to proceed; developer and Cltv will complete the EAW and submit It to <br />the Board as quickly as possible, simultaneously requesting an exemp- <br />tion for the project. <br /> <br />MWCC Strength Charge Resolution <br />Lynden referred Councl I to draft of MWCC Strength Charge Resolution. <br /> <br />After review and discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, <br />that Council approve Resolution No. 77-41, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />RECOVERY OF INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH CHARGES AND PAYMENT TO METROPOLITAN <br />WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION, as amended. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Hunters Park-Conveyance of Park land <br />Counci I was referred to memo from McNlesh 17-25-77) and to Lynden's <br />letter of 7-18-77 re Conveyance of part of Outlot I, Hunters Park <br />Fourth Addition, to abutting property owners. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by WIngert, that Council <br />accept the offer of Hunters Park Homeowner's Representative Robert <br />A. Curtis e1: al; land to be subdivided Into I i lots and conveyed and <br />consolidated with adjacent lots for the sum of D2t/sq.ft., and <br />authorize the City Attorney to proceed with the conveyance. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved to amend the motion to change the cost figure to 14.55 <br />cents per sq. ft. Seconded by Crepeau. <br /> <br />Amendment to the motion carried (Woodburn, Crepeau, Wingert voting In <br />favor; Crichton voting In opposition). <br /> <br />Main motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Arden Manor Request 'for Enforcement of 10MPH Speed L~ <br />Council referred request to Attorney Lynden to determine whether the <br /> <br />-1- <br />
