<br /> ~-- ------- <br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br />I WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5,2002 <br /> 7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br />I <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Sand called tbe meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present were Chair David Sand, Commissioners Ken Bezdicek, Teni Duchenes, Thcrese <br /> Galatowitsch, Brad Lemberg, Megan Ricke, and Clayton Zimmerman. <br /> Absent: None. <br /> Also present werc Councilmember Beverly Aplikowski, Councilmember Lois Rem, City <br /> Plarmer Aaron Parrish, City Engineer Nick Landwer, and Recording Secretary Katbleen <br /> Altman. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON <br /> MAY 1,2002. <br />I Commissioner Zimmerman requested the following changes/revisions: Page 2, third <br /> paragraph, change Hanson to Tolson, Page 2, eighth paragraph, should read: "Chair <br /> Sand asked if the City Engineer had been out to the site". Page 3, second paragraph from <br /> the bottom, second sentence sbould read: "He noted the Planning Commission could not <br /> act on repIatting until Council addressed the vacating of Femwood". Pagc 5, third <br /> paragraph, second sentence should read: "He statcd it was not necessary to combine all <br /> of the their lots into...". Page 6, fourth paragraph, change Elker to Oelker. Page 7, fifth <br /> paragraph, change Elker to Oelker. <br /> Commissioner Lemberg moved, seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to approve tbe <br /> May 1, 2002 minutes as alnended. The motion carried unanimously (7-0). <br /> CASE #02-09 - MINOR SUBDIVISON - JOHN AND LIZ MODESETTE, 3743 NEW <br /> BRIGHTON ROAD - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Chair Sand opened the public hearing at 7:36 p.m, <br /> Staffreviewed their report dated May 23, 2002. Staffrecommended approval of the <br /> request based on the findings therein. <br /> Commissioner Zimmennan stated the future land use plan talked about half <br /> neighborhood business and half residential. He asked if that plan was talking about this <br />I lot or the general area. Mr. PatTish replied the Cllrrent single-family lot that would be <br /> created would be low density residential and the parcel fronting Cleveland Avenue would <br /> be ncighborhood business district. <br />
