Gray Henderson and John H61lellhorst. <br />Absent - Councilman Ronald Herrick <br />Also Present - Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist, Treasurer <br />Worth G. Read (9:00 p.m.), Attorney Vincent P. Courtney, <br />Maintenance Supervisor Everett Beecher and Assistant Clerk <br />-e Dorothy Zehm. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The Minutes of the RegularCouncfl Meeting of Monday, January II, <br />1971, were approved as presented. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY VINCENT P. COURTNEY <br /> <br />Amendment to Personnel Ordinance - Holiday Schedule <br />Attorney Courtney subm I tted his drilft of an .amendment to the Personne I <br />Ordinance, adopting an amended holiday schedule. <br /> <br />After discussion, Councilman Hollenhorst moved that AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 83, THE PERSONNEL OROINANCE, TO CONFORM <br />THE HOLIDAYS To STAH LAW, be introduced by title and given ,Its <br />first reading; seconded by CouncllmanOlmen. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Calph-Northdale Construction Company Claim <br />Attorney Courtney advised the Council that he received a letter from <br />,the attorney for Northdale Construction Company re the Calph claim. <br /> <br />The Oouncll referred the letter to Councilman Henderson for review, <br />and requested Clerk AdmInistrator Stromquist to call Dr. Calp/1 ere <br />the status of the claim, In an effort to resolve the Council's <br />involvement in the matter at the February 8, 1971 Council meeting. <br /> <br />I.O.O.F. Application for Special Use Permit <br />Attorney Courtney advised the Counc11 that he has received a letter <br />from the attorney for I.O.O.F. re the status of their Special Use <br />Permit application; advising that he will submit his opinion on the <br />matter at the Council meeting of February 8, 1911. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />(Absent - no report) <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TREASURER WORTH G. READ <br /> <br />Treasurer Read advised the Council that the Village earned over <br />$,8~..000.OO In 'Interest on Invested fundS, In the year 1970. <br /> <br />.~EPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Planning and Zoning. <br /> <br />Case No. 11-1, Zonln~ Ordinance Amendment re Ac~essary Uses . <br />After advising the Council that the Planning Commission recommends <br />approval of the ordinance draft, as amended, Councilman Hollenhorst <br />moved that AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE" NO. 99, THE ZONING ORDIN,- <br />ANCE, AS PREVIOUSLY AMENDEO AND PARTICULARLY AS AMENDED BY.
