~ STATE OF MINNEBOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY VILLAGE OF ARBEN HILLS ORDINANCE NO. Sl AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE PUBLIC WORKS RESERVE FUND, DESIGNATING CAPITAL IMPROVE- MENTS FOR WHICA THE FUND MAY BE USED AND OTHER PURPOSES FOR WHIGA THE FUND MAY BE USED, AND AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE FUND. The Village Couneil of the Village of Arden Hills does hereby ardain as fol- lows : Section 1. The Public Works Reserve F'und. There is hereby established in the Village of Arden Hills a fund to be . . known as "Public Works Reserve Fund," and the proper officers of the Village are authorized anddirected to cause said fund to be set up on records and ]edgers of the Village and to make deposits therein and withdrawals there- from from the sources and of the Aur- . poses hex•einafter set forth. Section: 2. Sources of Funds. Hereafter, commeneing with taxea lev- ied for the year 1965, the Couneil of Ax•den Hills may levy taxes within the restrictions imposed by law for the support of said Pwblic Works Reserve Fund, and the proceeds of taxes thus . levied sieall be paid into ssid fund. In addition thereto there may be paid into such fund, upon resolution by the Coun- cil, any other revenue not required by . statute or ordinance to be paid into . some other fund or used for pu~rpoaes other than hereinafter provided. Section 3. Purposes of the Fund. The Public Works Reserve Fund shall be used for the construction, rebuilding, on replacement of the sewers, lift sta- tions and other appurtenances of the Arden Hills sanitary sewer system as now established or as the same may be enlarged or expanded in the future. It - is the intention of the Council that the fund herein established shali be waed for . capital improvements and not for ardi- . nary maintenance of the sanitary sew-. er sYStem. . Without limiting the foregoing, the said Public Works Reserve Fund may also be used, purauant to Council resolu- tion, for other capital improvements of the same general type hereinbefore . specifically designated, fox capital im- provements af any type for which the Village is now or may be in the future authorized to iasue bonda, and for such other u$es as may be permitted by law. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and publication. Adopted by the Village Council of Arden Hills this 26 day of October, 1964. D. F.
