<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 25, 2015 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting of March 25, 2015 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member Steve King <br />Council Member D. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATION <br /> <br /> <br />1.Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah <br />a. Legislative Update <br />b. I-35/Trunk Highway 97 & CSAH 32 Ramps <br /> <br />Anoka County Commissioner Sivarajah introduced herself to Council and stated that she was <br />here to provide Council with an and update on what has been happening within the County. <br />Commissioner Sivarajah stated that she was aware of the City’s opposition to the White Bear <br />Lake Lawsuit Settlement, stated that five (5) suburban counties are participating in discussions <br />for items for Metropolitan Council and issues that they will pursue in the future. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sivarajah stated that the County would like the City’s support regarding the entire <br />reconstruction of bridge located at the intersection of I-35/Trunk 97, explaining that the existing <br />bridge is in major disrepair, deficient in size and is a public safety hazard. Commissioner <br />Sivarajah stated that the County/MN Dot is requesting Federal funding in the amount of 25 <br /> <br />
