<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 12, 2019 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held a their regularly scheduled City <br />Council Meeting on June 12, 2019 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Jeff Paar <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member D. Love <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Council Member Matt Montain <br /> <br />ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Paar called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Paar provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. Administrator Statz <br />requested that VII. Consent Agenda, Item #11, Res. #19-017 – Accepting a Donation to the City <br />(Lance & Marie Vidger, Bald Eagle Water Ski Club) be added to the agenda and remove Consent <br />Agenda Item #5, Listing Agreement – Block 7 – Titus Commercial Real Estate. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Montain to Approve the <br />Agenda with the Above Stated Addition and Deletion. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />I. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1. Brad Falteysek, Abdo, Eick & Meyer – 2018 Audit <br /> <br />Mr. Brad Falteysek, Abdo, Eick & Meyer stated that all documents were in draft form for <br />modification if needed. He reviewed the submitted presentation with Council. He stated that the <br />opinion of Abdo, Eick & Meyer was that this was a clean audit, that the City exceeds the minimum <br />fund balance policy of 40-50% (excess revenue over expenditures was $112,039), reported on the <br />debt service, water, sewer and storm water funds and stated that all funds were in good shape. The <br />sewer fund operating costs exceeded operating revenues due to work completed to secure the sewer <br />line at Trail Side Park along the lake. He reported that the garbage and recycling funds show a <br /> <br />
