<br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 8, 2020 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held a regularly scheduled City <br />Council Meeting on January 8, 2020 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Paar called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Jeff Paar <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Council Member D. Love <br />Council Member Matt Montain <br /> <br />ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> Finance Director Bruce DeJong <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Paar provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that Item #1 under New Business should reflect that it is the first <br />reading. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Montain to Approve the <br />Agenda with the Above Stated Modifications. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1. Susan Vento, Metropolitan Council Representative <br /> <br />Ms. Susan Vento introduced herself to Council and gave a brief synopsis of her background and <br />duties. She stated that Centerville was an amazing community. She stated that she is eager to <br />become involved in the communities that she represents and desires to serve in the best interests <br />of the taxpayers. She asked whether Council had any questions they desired to be answered. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
