<br />Approved <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 9, 2022 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City <br />Council meeting on March 9, 2022 in Council Chambers of City Hall and the meeting was also <br />live streamed by North Metro TV. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor D. Love called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br />Council Member Steve King <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />Junior Council Member Danny Peterson (Non-Voting) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> City Planner Phil Carlson <br /> <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that a resident desired to address Council with concerns regarding <br />Emerald Ash Boring. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve the <br />Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Matt Frevel, 7180 Clear Ridge, addressed Council and stated that he has concerns regarding <br />Emerald Ash Borer. He stated that he has 14 trees in his yard that are infected, that there are many <br />ash trees in the community and neighboring communities, if something is not done (treat or <br />remove) this spring many will die. He stated that he is aware that other communities offer <br />programs reduced rates to their residents regarding treating or removal and was wondering if the <br />City was willing to explore options. He stated that felt that it would be a City problem is residents <br /> <br />
