<br />Approved <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL & CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 11, 2023 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City Council <br />and Closed Executive Session on October 11, 2023, in Council Chambers and the meeting was live <br />streamed by North Metro TV at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />II. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Love called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br /> Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />Council Member Raye Taylor <br /> Junior Council Member Rowan Shaw (Non-Voting) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Mark Statz <br /> Assistant City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br /> <br />III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />IV. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. Administrator Statz stated that <br />there were no additional items to be added to the agenda but there is a handout that is a revised document <br />for discussion related to medical facilities. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Taylor, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve the Agenda <br />with the noted addition. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPOINTMENT/PRESENTATION <br /> <br />1. Ms. Tammy Omdahl, Northland Securities (Intro. To Tax Increment Financing) <br /> <br />Ms. Tammy Omdahl, Northland Securities, introduced herself to Council and reviewed the presented <br />presentation on Tax Increment Financing (TIF) that was contained in Council’s packet. As summarized in <br />the presentation, TIF is the primary development tool available to cities she explained. She stated that it is <br /> <br />
