CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> May 9, 2007 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on May 9, 2007, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mary Capra <br /> Council Member Tom Lee <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member Michelle Lakso <br /> Council Member Linda Broussard <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />None. <br /> <br />STAFF: <br />City Administrator Dallas Larson <br />City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br />City Engineer Mark Statz <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Capra called the May 9, 2007, City Council meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br /> Mayor Capra opened the public hearing at 6:37 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the City first adopted a Storm Water Pollution <br />Prevention Program in 2003. He stated that a hearing is required on an annual basis. Mr. <br />Larson explained that the City must inspect ponds, administer a sedimentation and <br />erosion control program within building sites. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson stated that the City applied for a new storm water permit in 2006 and is <br />among several hundred small communities reviewed for new permit issuance. He stated <br />that the City filed its annual Report of Activities for 2006 on March 14, 2007. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that the report is available at City Hall for public review. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lee, to close the <br />Public Hearing at 6:39 p.m. All in favor.
