<br />/ <br />! <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ceriterville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 1977 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar call'.ed t:tle meeting to order at 7: 00 pm. Present were: <br />Burque, L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. <br /> <br />Burque moved the minutes of November 2) meeting be accepted, <br />L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Hawkins advised the council that the easement on the <br />church property needed by the city for the sewer construction <br />has been settled. The settlement would be $750. to the church <br />and the city would also have to pay the appraiser fee of $300 <br />totaling $1050. Leon L'Allier made a motion for easement <br />settlement on the above property of $1050., Fran Burque seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion was also held on the settlement for the lift station <br />site on the A. A. Burque Estate property of $600. L'Allier <br />made a motion for the city to settle on the easement for the <br />lift station site for $600., John Peterson seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Messrs. Arthur Raudio and Don Johnson of First Guaranty Corporation <br />appeared before council with final plat of Center Oaks #1. All <br />preliminary details have been taken of including park fund money, <br />escrow fund at Anoka Title, letter of credit with Northwestern <br />National Bank of Minneapolis, performance bond in the amount of <br />$136,655.)8 and development contract. John Peterson made a motion <br />to authorize the mayor and clerk to sign the development contract <br />pending authorization from the city attorney, Fran Burque seconded <br />it, motion carried. Discussion was held on the matter of erecting <br />three model homes on three lots in the above described property. <br />Permits would be issued pending approval from the engineer because <br />of the matter of road construction in front of the homes and <br />occupancy would be delayed until Engineer and Building Inspector <br />have given their approval. SAC charge, unit charge and hoook- <br />up permit would be required to pay when the permit is issued <br />for the homes. <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from the Department of Public Welfare concerning <br />an application for a group home at 1181 Mound Trail in Lino Lakes. <br />Matter referred to Lino Lakes City office. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to letter from the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission concerning Centerville's 1978 Estimated Cost Allocation <br />for sewer service charges. The total for 1978 would be $1,796.06 <br />due in monthly installments of $149.67 beginning with January. <br />payment. <br /> <br />Clerk advised council of. results from election held December ), <br />1977 in the City Hall. 71 voters were registered, 4) for Niesen <br />and 28 for Knaak. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the matter of flooding the skating rink <br />and the possibility of hiring a warming house attendant for the <br />season. L'Allier made a motion to hire one or two warming house <br />attendants to work approximately 2-) hours a night at $2.10 an <br />
