Centervi{fe, :MJIf 55038 <br /> <br />(651) 429-3232 . rf'~(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05 - 020 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY REGARDING CONNECTION TO <br />CITY UTILITIES AND USE OF ON-SITE WATER AND SEWER SYSTEMS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has a substantial investment in municipal water <br />distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the goal of the City to have all properties connected to such systems in <br />order to provide for the most efficient and cost effective delivery of those services. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) It shall be the City's policy that all new developments, homes and businesses <br />constructed in the City shall be connected to City of Centerville water and <br />sanitary mains and the City may consider premature the development of any <br />parcel that is not yet served with City water and sanitary sewer. <br /> <br />2) The City Council may determine that City water and/or service is unavailable but <br />that a development should be allowed with temporary on-site water and/or <br />sanitary systems.
