<br />EXTRACT OF MmUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City. Hall on <br />Tuesday, the 27th day of May, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, Wall. <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9413 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR CELLULAR TELEPHONE ANTENNAS AT <br />2233 HAMLlNE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.1 OA of the Roseville City Code identifies commercial <br />receiving or transmitting antennas and towers not located on a city tower site as a <br />conditional in any zoning district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CB Commercial has requested a conditional use permit to allow the <br />placement of three additional cellular telephone antennas on the roof and penthouse of the <br />Roseville Professional Center at 2233 Hamline Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, April 9, 1997 and Wednesday, May 14,1997, and recommended <br />approval of the requested conditional use permit subject to conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Tuesday, May 27, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The proposed expanded use of the property for a professional office building <br />with cellular telephone antennas will have a minimum impact on traffic in the <br />area. Any additional traffic generated by the expanded use for antennas will <br />be minimal. <br /> <br />2. The proposed expanded use of the property for cellular telephone antennas <br />will have a minimum impact on parks, streets, and other public facilities. <br /> <br />3. The proposed expanded use of the property for cellular telephone antennas <br />will be compatible with contiguous properties. Other buildings in the <br />immediate area are limited to three stories or less, while this building is six <br />
