Call Roll and Adopt Agenda 6:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Klausing called the regular meeting of the Roseville City <br />Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Birch Room of the Roseville <br />Public Works Maintenance Facility, 1140 W oodhill Drive, on the <br />above date and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />Roll Call (V oting Order) <br />Councilmernbers Maschka, Schroeder, and lvIayor Klausing. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan arrived shortly after the meeting was <br />called to order. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough had previously notified staff of his <br />inability to attend tonight's special meeting; and had submitted <br />written comments and recommendations that were distributed to <br />Councilmembers and were available for public information. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing stated the purpose of tonight's meeting for an <br />informal discussion of the 2005 City Budget in preparation for <br />further discussion and subsequent Council adoption of a <br />Preliminary not-to-exceed 2005 City Budget and Tax Levy at the <br />City Council meeting on Monday, September 13,2004. <br /> <br />2. Informal Discussion of the 2005 City Budget in Preparation Informal <br />for Further Discussion and Subsequent Council Adoption of Discussion <br />a Preliminary Not-to-Exceed 2005 City Budget and Tax Levy 2005 City Budget <br />at the City Council Meeting on Monday, September 13, 2004. <br />Mayor Klausing reviewed the $750,000 annual structural deficit <br />facing the City of Roseville changes in funding by the State of <br />Minnesota. Mayor Klausing encouraged Councilmembers to <br />determine how this structural deficit could be resolved. <br />
