<br />~ <br />City Council Minutes <br />Work Session - Regular Meeting <br />April 8, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with all members present 5:30 p.m. <br />(voting order): Klausing, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn Roll Call <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />Rick Talbot, Code Compliance Officer, briefly reported on the <br />success in removing illegal signs from public utility poles in <br />Roseville and nationwide. <br /> <br />5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. Review of Regular Meeting Agenda 5:30 - 5:15.m. <br />Kysylyczyn asked and there were no questions from the Regular Meeting <br />Council about the Consent Agenda. Agenda Review <br /> <br />II. Additional Staff Presentations <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />North Metro I-35W Corridor Coalition Annual <br />Report with Bob Benke and Steve Larson <br />Kysylyczyn called on Bob Benke, former Mayor of New <br />Brighton and now a consultant, and Steve Larson, <br />current Mayor of New Brighton, to provide a 2001 <br />Annual Report for the North Metro I-35W Corridor <br />Coalition. Larson described the traffic problems facing <br />all corridor cities. At this point, Benke had technical <br />problems delivering a Power Point presentation and the <br />Council asked Mr. Benke and Mayor Larson to return <br />another day. <br /> <br />Bus Shelters - I-35W Concept and Proposer Craig <br />Piernot <br />Craig Piernot, of Outdoor Promotions, Inc. described his <br />efforts to promote new bus shelters in the Metro. His <br />company seeks to determine local and regional bus <br />shelter needs; they do not prescribe types of shelters that <br />communities must use. They install lit shelters and <br />remove trash two times weekly. They also power wash <br />shelters.
