Maintain a positive balance between the living and working <br />environment with the appropriate niix and distribution of <br />ttses within the City's Land Use Plan. <br />. Emphasize high quaiity mixed density housing, restrict <br />further retail devElopment, encourage medium size office <br />space. <br />. Reduce low yield industrial users as part of the Roseville <br />land use approach. <br />. Landscape and buffer residential neighborhoods from other <br />types of development as well as protect existing <br />neighborhoods. <br />. Maintain park space equal to or greater than its current <br />percentage of total land use. <br />. Revise the City's Land Use Plan to accomplish' the <br />fo3.lowing: <br />- Utilize innovative land use approaches thraugh mixed use <br />developments; e.g. Planned Unit Developments (PUD's), <br />emphasizing green space, encourage creative mixed use. <br />developments such as residential villages, innovative <br />joint parking arrangements, right-of-way abandonments, <br />etc. All types of iand use, including park space, could <br />be relocated as necessary to balance the community <br />environment. <br />
