EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 23rd day of October, 2000, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel, Kysylyczyn and the following members were absent: None Council Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9820 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR DEMOLITION OF BUILDING, ASBESTOS REMOVAL AND SITE RESTORATION FOR 2800 ARONA Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Thursday, October 5, 2000, at 1 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Carl Bolander & Sons Co. $86,000 Veit & Company $102,613 Kevit Excavating $103,875 Belair $107,205 FM Frattalone Excavating & Grading $153,850 USD-Minnesota $154,951 Ceres Environmental $159,671 WHEREAS, it appears that Carl Bolander & Sons Co. of S1. Paul, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $86,000; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Carl Bolander & Sons Co..for $86,000 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
