EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 9th day of December, 2013 at 6:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee, Roe; <br /> and the following members were absent: none. <br /> Member Laliberte introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11111 <br /> A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF TERMINAL ROAD (PF11-024) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has proposed the vacation of a remnant portion of <br /> Terminal Road which is legally described as follows: <br /> The north 30.00 feet of the west 700.00 feet of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8, <br /> Township 29 North, Range 23 West, Ramsey County, Minnesota,which lies within 8.50 feet <br /> on each side of a line which is 377.50 feet east of and parallel to the west line of the <br /> Southwest Quarter of said Section 8, Township 29 North, Range 23 West. <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville acquired its interest in said road pursuant to a Deed <br /> which was filed in the office of the Ramsey County Recorder as Document No. 1588417; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council held a hearing on September 26, 2011, to <br /> determine whether or not the surrounding portions of said Terminal Road described above should <br /> be vacated and subsequently determined that the such vacation would be in the public interest; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br /> vacation of the remnant portion described above on December 4, 2013, voting 6-0 to recommend <br /> approval of the use based on public testimony and the comments and findings of the staff report <br /> prepared for said public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, four-fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this resolution; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council: <br /> 1. That the City of Roseville hereby vacates those portions of Highcrest Road and Terminal <br /> Road legally described as follows: <br />
