I <br />think that is an excellent idea. <br /> <br />The third category of actions taken is entitled: <br /> <br />"Date of letter notifying the application (sic) that the <br />application was incomplete and not accepted, with the reasons <br />listed. " <br /> <br />This date must be within ten days of the initial application. <br /> <br />Minn. Stat. ~15.99, Subd. 3. Applications and Extensions, provides <br />as follows: <br /> <br />" if an agency receives a written request that does not <br />contain all of the required information, the 60-day limit <br />starts over only if the agency sends a notice within 10 <br />business days of receipt of the request, telling the requestor <br />what information is missing." <br /> <br />Thus, in your form the "so-called date of letter" date must be <br />within 10 days of the initial application. <br /> <br />Also, the 60-day period may be extended for an additional 60 days <br />with a written notice provided to the applicant. <br /> <br />* Also Admitted in Wisconsin <br />tCivil Trial Specialist, Certified by the Civil Litigation Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. <br />
