<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of June 2002, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10003 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING REAFFIRMATION <br />OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR NORTHCO REAL ESTATE SERVICES, 1656 TERRACE DRIVE (PF3401) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Northco Real Estate Services has requested a reaffirmation of a pre-existing <br />special use permit to continue to operate a truck terminal in an 1-2 zone located on a tier oflots in <br />the 1600 block, south of Terrace Drive, west of Lincoln Drive, and west of the Roseville Square <br />Shopping Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, although there is no City record of a Conditional (Special) Use Permit ever <br />being issued for this use at this site, it is presumed the official action was taken in 1972 or 1973 <br />as the building is consistent with both the Comprehensive Plan and the Zoning at that time and a <br />building permit was issued for the construction ofthe building on 4.3 acres in 1973; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Northco Real Estate Services is the owner of the property located at 1656 <br />Terrace Drive, legally described as: <br /> <br />Section 4, Town 29, Range 23, Ex E 1075 fi and Ex N 1085 fi, <br />Part lying E of the W 1048 fi of the N 1446 fi of the SE Y4 (subj. to <br />Easements) in Sect. 4, Tn 29, Rn 23 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to clarify records and for financial reasons, Northco Real Estate, the current <br />owner, and current tenant Clark Brothers Transfer, have requested the City provide reaffirmation <br />of the previously approved special (conditional) use on this site; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville Planning Commission held the required hearings on <br />this case on June 5, 2002, and after considering the case and public comment, recommended <br />approval of the request, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing usage as a truck terminal on this site is a conditional use within <br />an 1-2 zoning district in Section 1007.03 C4 of the current City Code; and <br />
