<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of June 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10010 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN MAP DESIGNATION FROM "LD", LOW DENSITY AND "B" BUSINESS TO <br />HD, HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND "B" BUSINESS FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1074 ROSELAWN AVENUE (PF #3224). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a public hearing held on March 6, 2002, <br />received a request from Accessible Space Inc. for a Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment <br />on property commonly known as 1074 Roselawn Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment requires a map <br />designation change from "LD" (Low Density Residential) and "B" (Business) to "HD" (High <br />Density Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said property is legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Roselawn Village Addition <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after required public hearings, the Roseville Planning Commission <br />recommended approval (6 - 0) of the request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, indicating <br />support for the residential development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council at their meeting of June 17, 2002, was presented <br />with the project report from the Community Development Staff regarding the subject request; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council hereby approve the <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan from "LD" (Low Density Residential) and "B" <br />(Business) to HD (High Density Residential) and "B" (Business) for property generally located <br />at 1074 Roselawn Avenue legally described above), based on the following findings: <br /> <br />a. The vacant parcel has limited ability to be developed given the need for a pond, <br />easements, and setbacks applicable to a specific zoning district. <br />
